This was a fun project. These Pot Metal Bertram Boats name plates are obsolete and cannot be found in good usable condition. We created new name plates from cratch due to the original emblems were too decayed for 3D scanning.
Left hand was broken off, Left shoulder and neck had large cracks. Customer opted to self refinish.

Cycle times are very important to us. We do our very best to get projects in and out! However, quality can only be rushed to a certain point before it is compromised.
Typically, projects take one to six weeks depending on the amount of work required and current workload. On average, most repairs requiring up to four hours can take two weeks to complete, not including shipping.
Getting your Pot Metal parts to us.
There are two ways you can get your parts to us:
- Customers who live local to Vacaville, CA, are always welcome to drop their parts off to us. Please call 707-621-5052 to make arrangements.
- Out of State customers can ship parts via USPS, UPS, FedEx – whichever service you prefer. Items should be sent to: 607 Elmira Rd. #244, Vacaville, CA, 95687
In either case, please photograph all parts prior to packaging. Insurance is highly recommended.

Our process affords the latest in technology to totally and completely control the melting temperature of any given pot metal part. This allows us to weld two more broken pot metal pieces together without melting, distorting, or destroying an adjacent joint repair.
Just as in steel or aluminum and the like, our process and equipment go hand in hand with Pot Metal Parts modification.
