 1934 Dodge Truck Grille Modification

This is a grille for the 1934 Dodge truck.

This grille had some rot damage, but it wasn’t bad. These are two piece grilles from the factory. They consist of a main upper section and the lower portion of the grille they have a section that detaches for the hand crank start to go through. Hand crank start vehicles? What a time to be alive…

The owner wanted a grille that was completely different than any other and his idea was to modify/delete the hand start cover and make a one-piece grille, making it a one-off pot metal grille that no one else had. So that’s exactly what we did for him.

He had another broken grille we used as a doaner , the top half of the damaged grille was grafted into the lower section and shaped to flow smoothly to the very bottom of the grille. Any I must say, it came out fabulous!

The owner was very excited for it. Once he picked it up he was heading straight to his plating shop.
