Restoring a ’54 Chrysler Eagle Hood Ornament
The overall shape of this pot metal hood ornament is pretty good and once I had the broken screw boss welded back in, it was reshaped back to it’s original condition and ready for re-plating.
This was one of the easier projects that I’ve done due to it’s considerably clean casting properties… But as always pot metal contamination is normally not a problem.
