Customized 1962 Chevy Impala Dashboard

This is a factory pot metal dashboard that we removed the upper trim panel, radio knobs and slot, cigarette lighter, a one switch.
Since the upper trim covered the horizontal center between the upper and lower panels, an aluminum “bull-nose” trim molding was made to cover the factory trim bolt holes.
On the lower panel, we removed three switch boss’, The ash tray, and a square hole that we had no idea why it was even there? Anyhow, those were removed to make room for the new billet air conditioning vents on both sides of the steering wheel.
Long story short, it was an amazing project that we enjoyed producing.
